Eltorque is the winner of Leiv Eiriksson Innovation Award 2010

Eltorque was on October 7th rewarded with the Leiv Eiriksson Innovation Award 2010. This annually award is given out in Trondheim, Norway, in connection with the Leif Eiriksson Day occurring on October 9th. The object of the prize is to stimulate increased achievement and inspire to innovation and regional development in Mid-Norway. Eltorque competed against Aptomar, Lingit, Boost Communication and Bewi Products.

The jury emphasized Eltorque’s successful industrialization of new technology within maritime technology and that we have managed to gain a foothold within the international market. The award was given to Eltorque’s Project Manager Marta Gjestvang by U.S. Ambassador Barry White. With the award comes a statue of Leiv Eiriksson and 50.000 NOK.

Eltorque is proud to obtain this price and will continue to develop new and innovative products for offshore and onshore market.
