Opening of Eltorque Automation Xiamen

Marvellous ceremony at Le Meridien Hotel

Friday 11th of February Eltorque Automation Xiamen was officially opened. The ceremony took place at Le Meridien Hotel in Xiamen, with invited guests and employees. The ceremony was completed with the board members of Eltorque AS pouring colored liquid into ice sculptures shaped as Eltorque in Chinese.

The office in Xiamen has previously been run by Greenway AS, but from 1/1-2011 this is a subsidiary company owned 100% by Eltorque AS. Eltorque Automation Xiamen's main tasks will be to continue with manufacturing of actuators and development of control systems for maritime and onshore installations, and to follow up the fast growing maritime marked in China.

For Eltorque AS the opening of this office is one of the first steps in expanding into new markets and establishing subsidiaries in major maritime hubs world wide.
